This weekend is Easter- let’s remember He is not dead, but is risen, reigning and ruling the universe.
Saturday March 30th is a critical day in Kenya.
The high court will rule on the presidential election appeal made by Riala Odinga, the emcumbant Prime Minister who was apparently defeated in the recent Presidential elections. There is much concern that tribal violence will break out as it did 4 years ago, killing thousands.
This is strange to our Western (American) mindset as we experience peaceful elections without such civil unrest. Let this be a reminder to thank God on this Easter holiday that Christ is the risen Prince of Peace and that there can never be peace until men and women are at peace with Him. I am praying that the 80% population of professing Christians in Kenya can put Christ culture above and beyond tribal culture. May the same be true in America!
