This is the last of the 6 days conference in Kahama. It was so humbling to have evangelists, laymen and young pastors thanking Barry Wood Ministries aggressively saying that they had never been to a bible teaching conference or spiritual conference like this – a place of teaching. We gave teaching to these men and women and they nearly cried. Every person we had in a group implored Barry Wood Ministries to return to Kahama to teach the word even more. This was to be a fact finding conference.
My findings are these: this is the very heart of the mission Barry Wood Ministries has chosen, to equip young leaders and mentor them to reproduce so that we can expand the kingdom of God today and even tomorrow by teaching accurately the word of God. Like starving street children, the church for today is in need for every word of teaching it can get.
We can give millions to every African, we can do whatever we can do, but without teaching them and equipping them for the word African it will be waste of time. This will be like giving them fish to eat. They will eat and eat while you are still there fishing and supplying for them, but once you are gone they will starve for death. So this is the right time to teach Africans how to make hooks and fish, so once you are gone they can make hooks and fish for themselves. Thank you so much for your donation toward this conference, so that we can teach our people how to make hook and how to fish. It is my prayer that the blessing of the Living God will bless you in every aspects of your life.
RECOMMENDATION: Let us focus on the key men conference so that we can teach Africa to make hooks and how to fish. God bless you!
