The month of April was exciting as our staff ministered across East Africa sharing the Gospel of Christ and educating villages concerning HIV/AIDS. It is such an encouragement to see nine new church plants and 440 follow the Lord in baptism! Numbers on a page cannot adequately represent all the ministry activities such as training, discipleship, mentoring, and personal growth. It does give a picture of how our resources are being put to use.
Our first quarter of 2012 shows that 143,631 have trusted Christ as Lord and Savior and 39 new churches started! A total of 421,450 have viewed evangelistic films. We are working diligently to enlist new converts into NLIC (New Life In Christ) Bible studies as well as follow through in water baptism.
There are so many more aspects to this ministry including Key-Man Conferences, water projects, feeding ministries, medical missions, church building, etc. Our work is to utilize evangelism, discipleship and church planting to fulfill the Great Commission in our generation. God is blessing!
