Barry Wood Ministries began expanding its leadership training vision into Asia by identifying and equipping faithful men who would carry forward the mission of evangelism and discipleship in some of the most spiritually challenging regions of the world. Through intentional leadership development and multiplication, the vision to raise up skilled evangelists and disciple makers continues to grow across Central Asia. Our Asia Staff and their “Timothies” are committed to strengthening the Church, advancing the Gospel, and raising up future generations of leaders who will stand firm in their faith and serve their communities boldly for Christ.

Family: Married to Azooba and they have children
Abid lives in Central Asia and focuses on the release of indentured Christian slaves, discipling Christian pastors, planting new Christian churches and schools, as well as caring for widows and orphans. He faithfully shares the Gospel with those who will listen in his region and works tirelessly to strengthen and expand the Kingdom of God throughout Central Asia.
