Serengeti Corridor Project- SCP -South

The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is a huge ecosystem. The western portion extends to the shores of Lake Victoria. This western corridor is about 20 miles wide. Many tribal villages are located on both the North & South of the Corridor. Because these villages had few churches, BWM began missionary work there in 2004. Now in the southern villages there are Seven churches with about 1000 members, four good water wells, church buildings and medical help. Many are coming to Christ each month.

SCP-North

In 2007 BWM began a 4 year project to reach 6 villages north of the Serengeti Corridor. These people are listed as “unreached peoples” in need of the Gospel. In 2008, after our medical team went there a surge of evangelism & church planting took place., In recent months, new church houses have been completed, Clean water systems built, a Medical clinic opened and new churches planted. A rain water retention system put on a school is providing over 1000 children will have clean water every day. Churches will be built, disciples made, and the Kingdom of God established there. Congo –IDP camps

In 2008 BWM feed thousands of poor souls displaced by tribal war in Kenya. These Internally Displaced peoples are scattered in refugee type camps throughout central & western Kenya. Now in 2009 the DRC {Congo} is aflame with civil war. Money was sent in January 09 for relief in Goma, Congo Two BWM staff in Congo collected food, sanitary napkins, clothing & other essentials for those living in tents until they can return to a safe place.

Medical Missions

BWM has identified locations in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda & Kenya in dire need of medical help. BWM is going where there is no basic medical care. Children are dying needlessly due to bad water, malaria, Aids, and other preventable illnesses.
